Bold & Beautiful Noon Time Challenge



Hello Friends,

It is time for the Tuesday Noon Time Challenge for Flourishes Release for July 2012. The theme for this challenge is to make it Bold & Beautiful. I used our newest set Passion Vine and I went bold---Black and Fuchsia...Here is the card:





I used a style that Cindy Lawrence featured some weeks ago on the Flourishes "Teach Me Mondays" and I made a border on each side of the card using a Martha Stewart punch.. I am still working on using black as a background and dramatic coloring effects. Today I stamped on Flourishes White Classic card stock, colored and fussy cut then applied the image to black cardstock .I kept everything else simple and let the image and color do all the work for me. I really like working on a black background and hope to develop my skill levels as I go forward. To get the sentiment in the bright color, I stamped it in white craft ink and embossed it in white as well, then colored with Copic Markers until I was satisfied with the saturation.
