Hello Friends,

It is time for the Noon Time Challenge for today>  I hope you will play along today.

I ventured into a new style of card for me today.  First I did not color on white cardstock, but instead used Sahara Sand by Stampin Up.  It is a neutral that I love, I don't know if it is even available any longer.  I stamped the image in Memento Black, then colored with my Prisma Pencils, something I have not done in a long while.  I really enjoyed it.  Sine I am working on techniques with other that white paper you will be the first to see my many trials.

Here is my card for the challenge

Lots of layer--three papers, sets of three pearl, three layers in the focal image and three layers of white braid.
What do you think of this different approach?

I used the image from today's release Flowers & Frames, stamping it twice, almost intertwined. After coloring with Prisma Pencils. I fussy cut it out, then layered it on two different Spellbinder dies cuts, Irownwork accents and Fancy Tags Two.   I think it has a sophisticated but is still a very feminine look, It looks like a butterfly to me  The sentiment is from Botanical Bookplates Vol 2.

  8. Jan Marie, this card has seriously made me cry, but in a good way! I am really new to stamping, but have two sets from Flourishes. I would never have thought to stamp and colour on coloured cardstock, but you have shown that it can be done, and done superbly! And coloured pencils are my medium of choice; I just need tons of practice! I also love that you showed the versatility of the set by only using the flowers without the frames. So creative! Does creativity increase the more a person plays? Thanks so much for teaching by sharing.
